Lead, Project Controls (Estimating)

For our client, we are seeking a Lead, Project Controls (Estimating) to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will guide estimating, cost, and schedule workstreams across complex capital projects, ensuring project controls practices are consistently applied. The position partners closely with client stakeholders, analysts, schedulers, and managers to support accurate reporting and delivery oversight. It also focuses on identifying risks early and maintaining alignment across multiple project inputs in a matrixed environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $119,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Lead cost, estimating, and schedule workstreams on complex projects Coordinate inputs from analysts and schedulers Interface directly with client stakeholders Identify and communicate cost and schedule risks Support managers with reporting and delivery oversight Ensure alignment with project controls standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field Eight or more years of experience in cost or schedule management on capital projects Experience in complex, matrixed environments Proficiency in cost and schedule management software Industry experience in construction, life sciences, data centers, or industrial fields Strong oral and written communication skills Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts Retirement savings plans Life and disability insurance programs Paid and unpaid time away from work Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
