About the role
Right At School provides in-school and extracurricular programs to enrich student lives, provide peace of mind to parents, and support schools' academic missions. This role supports field leadership in managing multiple programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, guidance, and in-the-moment feedback to Right At School program team members.
- Audit, coach, and train staff to ensure compliance with relevant processes, policies, and expectations.
- Support the Area Manager's established plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of children during Right At School programs.
- Develop strong relationships with school administration, parents, and PTAs to ensure successful program delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate educational electives programs as applicable.
- Review and analyze electronic data such as enrollment information, timekeeping records, and file maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Administer light first aid when necessary.
- Meet and report regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site, and staff performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program or child care center/education setting.
- One year of supervisor/management experience.
- 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
- At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare program.
- Assertive and confident interpersonal communication skills.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to make independent decisions, prioritize tasks, multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Travel up to 100% of the workday throughout assigned programs.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds for 25% or less of the workday.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 25% or less of the workday.
- Stand, sit, walk, or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
- Talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason for 100% of the workday.
- High School diploma/GED required. Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- First Aid and CPR certification required.
