Job Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, guidance, and in the moment feedback to Right At School program team members.
- Audit, coach, and train staff to ensure compliance with all relevant Right At School, licensing, and district-specific processes, policies, and expectations.
- Support the Area Manager’s established plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of children during the Right At School program.
- Develop strong relationships with school administration, parents, and/or PTA organizations to ensure successful delivery of all Right At School programs and ensure customer satisfaction with the program.
- Cook educational electives programs for assigned area as applicable.
- Review and analyze electronic data such as enrollment information, timekeeping records, and file maintenance; taking prescribed actions based on the data found.
- Meet and report regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site and staff performance.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Administer light first aid when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program or child care center/education setting.
- One year of supervisor/management experience.
- 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
- At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare type program.
- Assertive and confident, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to:
- Make independent decisions on issues that do not require oversight.
- Prioritize critical tasks ahead of routine ones, as well as prioritize schedule demands with an appreciation and recognition of key, critical issues.
- Multitask and meet deadlines and adapt smoothly to rapidly shifting work priorities and schedules.
- Travel up to 100% of the workday throughout assigned programs, spending up to 100% of the workday performing program duties in ratio.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds for 25% or less of the workday.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 25% or less of the workday.
- Stand, sit, walk, or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
- Talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason for 100% of the workday.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- First Aid and CPR certification required.
