About the role

This Opportunity WSP USA, Inc is seeking an experienced environmental professional with a strong professional network, technical skills and a proven history of successfully completing sales in a seller/doer capacity. This individual will interface with both internal and external clients; be dynamic, creative, quality driven, have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; and be a proactive problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Developing existing and new clients via a strong business development acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities.
  • Managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Directing support staff and technical professionals on project specific tasks.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Senior Technical Reviewer within the area of expertise (e.g., ability to read, comprehend, and prepare construction drawings and technical specifications).
  • Preparing project permitting documents for local, state and federal permits.
  • Interacting with coworkers, clients, and prospective clients while conducting work in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Strong dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting company safety culture.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if/as required.
  • Able and willing to travel to meet clients and see project sites.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology or related field.
  • Professional licensure or certification.
  • 10+ years’ environmental consulting experience including project management and sales.

Qualifications

  • A thorough understanding of current state and federal environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA…).
  • The ability to forecast and advise on regulatory trends is a must.

  • Technical skills in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or related fields.

Pay

Expected Salary (all locations): $102,200 - $151,800
