About the role
The Lead Professional Engineer will oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities in municipal and industrial settings. This position requires a strong background in civil engineering and a commitment to sustainable practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment systems
- Manage construction projects from planning through completion
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop solutions that meet their needs
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of existing facilities
- Develop and implement strategies for facility upgrades and expansions
Requirements
- Professional Engineer license in relevant field
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Strong knowledge of environmental engineering principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software
- Knowledge of stormwater management techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
