Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the production process and conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to schedules, performance goals, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all production meets the company's exacting quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as needed to maintain product integrity.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing, engaged workforce. Conduct evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support employee growth.
- Manage line efficiencies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and reduce downtime to meet or exceed production targets.
- Ensure all equipment is in top working condition and that the workplace is safe. Promptly address any mechanical or safety issues to minimize disruptions.
- Supervise production line changeovers and verify readiness for resumed operations with minimal delays and errors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory, to streamline operations and share feedback for ongoing improvement.
Education And Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and budgets effectively.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and database applications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills related to production processes.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning, sustainability, and innovation.
Pay
Pay Range: United States of America: 58,000 USD - 75,000 USD
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
