About the role
The primary work location for this role is a remote work model.
Responsibilities
- Lead the success and product life cycle from concept to delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and design teams, to lead and deliver innovative products for customers and drive business growth
- Define and prioritize product features and functionalities for the different areas of the MoneyGuide platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals and objectives
- Assess unusual circumstances and use sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and recommend solutions
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise product requirements
- Understand technical constraints and trade-offs to make informed product decisions
- Collaborate with developers to define system architecture
- Lead client-facing conversations and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the MoneyGuide platform
- Develop strong relationships with key clients and partners to understand pain points and opportunities
- Translate client insights into product enhancements that drive value and differentiation
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support to define go-to-market strategies and enablement materials for new capabilities
- Effectively communicate product benefits internally and externally to drive adoption and engagement
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate feature adoption, usage, and success
- Use analytics, client insights, and market research to iterate and improve product offerings continuously
- Act as a leader and mentor within the product management team, modeling best practices in stakeholder management, decision-making, and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience in product management
- Motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Experience with data analysis and A/B testing
- Experience working closely with development teams
- Excellent people skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams, and third parties
- Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
- Experience in the financial technology industry
- Certification in Financial Planning (CFP) or similar credentials related to financial planning
- Robust knowledge of financial planning topics and solutions
