Lead Product Manager

Vega is the premier AI-native claims TPA built to replace the outdated $250B insurance claims industry—currently bogged down by fax machines, phone tag, and adjusters buried in paperwork. About the role

This is a "the product is yours" role, not a "help scale the team" role. You’ll set the vision, own the roadmap, and be personally accountable for whether Vega becomes the best claims service in the world. We work in the office 4 days per week to foster collaboration, speed, and strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap end-to-end: strategize, build, ship, and own the results.
• Talk to claims adjusters and customers constantly—understand how claims move better than people who’ve worked in claims for a decade.
• Identify where AI creates real leverage across the claims lifecycle and get it built—no roadmap slide decks, just execution.
• Work with Engineering, Sales, and Claims to deliver superior outcomes for customers.
• Use data to kill weak ideas fast and double down on what works.
• Hire and mentor PMs who are as fast and curious as you are.

Requirements

• You’ve shipped 0-1 AI products and know the difference between an impressive demo and a real product.
• 8+ years in product, with a hands-on approach—you still want to be in the weeds, not managing from 30,000 feet.
• Relentlessly curious: you ask "why" until you truly understand.
• Bias to action—you’d rather ship something imperfect today than wait a month for consensus.
• You can read a spreadsheet and a room with equal fluency.
• Experience leading or mentoring PMs and making them measurably better.
