Key Responsibilities
- AI & Intelligent Automation: Design and build agentic AI solutions for observability, embed AI/ML capabilities for predictive insights and anomaly detection, develop AIOps frameworks, and leverage LLMs for self-service diagnostics.
- Observability Platform Enhancement: Architect end-to-end observability solutions (logs, metrics, traces, events), enhance platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, OTEL) with custom integrations and AI, and build real-time health analytics.
- Scalable Platform Development: Lead development of reusable platform components and APIs, build developer-first tools, and apply modern engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, microservices, cloud-native).
- Automation & Self-Healing: Drive automation-first strategies, build self-healing systems, lead infrastructure-as-code and Observability-as-code initiatives.
- Architecture & Leadership: Define enterprise observability architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years engineering experience building software, platforms, or automation solutions with emphasis on observability and distributed systems.
- 4+ years hands-on experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, OTEL).
- 3+ years software development experience with Java (Spring Boot), Python, Node.js, or React.
- 2+ years hands-on experience building agentic AI systems (autonomous agents, AI workflows).
- Proven ability to design AI-driven automation and AIOps solutions; experience integrating LLMs and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud), API development, event-driven systems, microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Compensation
$100,000 - $170,500 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
