Lead Product Designer

About the role

The Lead Product Designer will lead the design vision and strategy for our AI-driven product suite. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and an ability to translate those insights into compelling designs that enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the design language for our AI products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and research to ensure alignment on design goals
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback
• Create detailed design documentation and prototypes to guide development
• Stay current with the latest design trends and technologies relevant to AI and UX

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, preferably in an AI or tech context
• Experience leading design teams and managing projects from conception to launch
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive design innovation and excellence
• Experience with design systems and principles
• Understanding of human-centered design methodologies
• Comfort with agile development processes

Skills

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with prototyping tools like Marvel, Principle, or InVision
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience with AI and machine learning concepts

$100,000 - $120,000 annually
