Lead Product Demonstrator

About the role

The Lead Product Demonstrator at Wegmans is responsible for showcasing and promoting various products to customers in a manner that enhances the shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Showcasing products to customers, providing detailed information about each item, and answering questions.
• Engaging customers through demonstrations and interactive activities.
• Assisting customers in finding products they need and guiding them through the store.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers.
• Participating in training sessions to stay updated on new products and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to engage with customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of store layout and product categories.

Pay

$21.75 - $22.50 per hour.
