Lead Procurement Specialist
About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage the buying process for a given set of goods.
- Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
- Manage PO from RFQ (request for quote), negotiation, PO placement, maintenance and follow up/fulfillment.
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
- Manage problems and schedule changes.
- Update ERP.
- Advise Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
- Handle communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Contribute to project as a team member or leading small projects.
Requirements
Have considerable experience within direct sourcing, procurement and supply chain. Preferably within a Manufacturing or Engineering, Oil and Gas Business. Looking for candidates with experience in SAP/Oracle. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as established interpersonal and leadership skills. A permanent work permit in UK.
