Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve core platform capabilities for AI-assisted application development.
- Design scalable, secure, and reliable services, APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns for GIU partner teams.
- Lead technical strategy for AI harness capabilities, including LLM integration, prompt orchestration, evaluation workflows, agentic development patterns, and reusable AI components.
- Define platform standards for observability, reliability, security, testing, performance, and operational readiness.
- Partner with GIU engineering teams to understand adoption needs and translate them into reusable platform features.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture reviews, design proposals, implementation planning, and cross-team engineering decisions.
- Mentor engineers on platform design, distributed systems, AI application patterns, and high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to shape the roadmap and prioritize high-impact platform investments.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, developer tooling, and cloud-native patterns for practical use within our core platform.
- Drive engineering excellence through clear technical documentation, maintainable designs, automated validation, and strong CI/CD practices.
Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge of frontend technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, nodejs.
- Hands-on engineering depth with broad systems thinking.
- Experience building platforms that other engineers love to use.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving technical domains.
- Strong architectural judgment and practical experience applying AI and LLM technologies in production-oriented environments.
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Experience shaping platform strategies and roadmaps.
- Ability to evaluate and apply emerging AI technologies and cloud-native patterns.
