Lead Pricing and Costing Analyst - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Pricing and Costing Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead end-to-end pricing and costing support for complex proposals, helping shape competitive bids that balance profitability, compliance, and win strategy. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop accurate cost models, evaluate risk, and provide decision support for high-stakes government and commercial pursuits. It is a highly visible finance role with direct influence on proposal quality, pricing discipline, and leadership presentations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $108,900 – $145,200 annually Responsibilities Lead cost and pricing activities for complex proposals from RFP through award Develop and validate proposal cost bases, including labor, material, and overhead costs Recommend pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability Provide guidance on costing methodologies to cross-functional teams Analyze cost data to identify risks and opportunities, and present findings to leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field 6+ years of experience in proposal cost development, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or defense Extensive experience with government and commercial proposal pricing strategies Strong understanding of FAR principles and various contract types, including CPFF, FFP, and T&M Proficiency in ProPricer and advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Benefits Remote work flexibility within the USA Opportunity to work with a leading defense solutions team Engagement in complex, high-stakes proposal processes Access to continuous improvement initiatives and professional development Collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
