Lead Preschool Teacher

About the role

The Lead Preschool Teacher will lead a dynamic and engaging classroom environment where learning is both fun and active. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering meaningful connections with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate a variety of learning styles and activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning space that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices, and support the overall quality of care provided.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Valid Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) fingerprint clearance card.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience with child development theories and strategies.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding early childhood education.

Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20-30 children.
• Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and documentation.
• Experience with outdoor play and physical activity.
