Lead Pre-K Teacher - Full-Time - Immediate Start

About the Role

Celebree School of Northbrook is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Full-Time Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire our oldest learners as they prepare for kindergarten. Our Pre-K classroom focuses on building confidence, independence, creativity, and a strong academic foundation through hands-on learning, exploration, and play.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using Celebree's curriculum.
• Prepare children for kindergarten by fostering early literacy, math, science, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills.
• Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe children's progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Partner with your teaching assistant and leadership team to create an exceptional classroom experience.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom while meeting Illinois DCFS licensing standards.

Requirements

• Must meet Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications (or be eligible).
• Previous experience teaching in a Preschool or Pre-K classroom preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Organized and dependable.
• Creative, engaging, and able to make learning fun.
• A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
