What You'll Do

• Create and implement lesson plans that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth in young children.
• Lead engaging activities that promote sharing, cooperation, and basic math and literacy skills.
• Track and record each child's development, making note of progress and areas for improvement.
• Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom environment, prioritizing the needs of all children.
• Stay in touch with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and sharing updates on their child's progress.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times, both within and outside the classroom.
• Encourage social skills development by modeling and teaching positive interactions.

Requirements

• Background Check: A clean background check is usually required to ensure the safety of the children.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
• Experience: Prior experience working with young children, either through internships, volunteering, or previous teaching positions.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Many positions require certification in first aid and CPR.
