Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical design decisions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java- and AEM-based applications.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support developers while fostering technical excellence across the team.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Java development, including Spring Boot, multithreading, generics, collections, and design patterns.
- 4+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including on-premises and/or AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices for building scalable, resilient, and maintainable applications.
- Experience developing web applications and APIs that integrate with front-end applications, mobile platforms, and third-party systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for Java applications deployed in cloud environments.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), jQuery, AJAX, and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Experience using build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement, story estimation, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, ECR (Docker), Elastic Beanstalk, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and Load Balancers.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise build automation tools, including GitHub Actions.
