Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians, providing hands-on coaching, real-time feedback, and performance support to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Oversee technician onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development to ensure compliance with SOPs and operational excellence.
- Schedule and staff shifts to ensure appropriate coverage and workflow continuity.
- Ensure accurate and efficient execution of pharmacy fulfillment workflows, including picking, packing, and shipping, in accordance with established timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues, escalating concerns to pharmacy leadership as necessary.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and cross-functional teams to resolve order and shipping issues promptly.
- Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment, ensuring its proper functioning to support order volume.
- Maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment process, driving adherence to all applicable standards and procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in workflow evaluations and helping implement operational enhancements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workspace aligned with company policies and regulatory expectations.
- Flexibly support fulfillment operations by assisting with order processing and technician duties as needed to meet volume demands.
- Support additional operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by pharmacy leadership.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team in a fast-paced fulfillment environment
- Empathy, patience, and professionalism in interactions with both patients and team members
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially when navigating high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance
- Comfort working with pharmacy automation equipment and technology-driven workflows
- A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset and the ability to contribute to cross-functional problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative spirit that thrives in cross-functional environments
Qualifications

Pay
The target base salary for this position ranges from $56,500 to $65,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable).
Schedule & Availability
While we strive to maintain consistent schedules, flexibility is required. Shift structures may be adjusted in the future based on evolving business needs.
