Lead Patient Registration Associate (Emergency Dept)

About the role

This position is 40 hours per week, Night Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am. Working every other weekend. Additional day off during the week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate secretarial responsibilities and oversee clerical operations.
• Support patient care and provide clerical, environmental, and customer service support for the patient care unit.
• Audit registration and transportation on shifts.
• Accountable for staff on shift.
• Coach, direct, and guide when required.
• Promote positive customer service in person and by phone.
• Train new employees.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED; A.A.S. Degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-3 years health/medical administration experience, preferably hospital setting; 1 year of supervisory and leadership experience with proven positive communication skills preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional performance reviews, excellent communication skills, and demonstrates Highland Promise Standards. Medical terminology. Advanced computer skills and the capacity to master additional advanced skills. Deep-rooted commitment to the team approach in all department related activities, excellent communication skills, and high level of personal accountability.

Pay

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
