Responsibilities
- Oversees and organizes daily responsibilities and schedules of the PAR teams, providing support where needed.
- As a working member of the team, has the ability to assist and cross-cover as needed in any of their responsibilities or locations.
- Prepares staffing schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Trains new staff, assessing team needs and determining retraining as needed.
- Performs staff audits and re-education as needed.
- Reviews daily balances and copays collected to ensure the team is meeting standard KPIs as set by the supervisors/manager.
- Accounts for and compiles team’s financial batches for the day, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and properly ordered.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and complies with HIPAA standards.
- Maintains a neat and organized workspace, and restocks supplies as needed.
- Travels to other offices as needed for coverage.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma required; some higher education preferred.
- 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical insurances required.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Experience working with an EMR/PM required.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Quick thinker with ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment is a must.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle for needed travel.
