LEAD PASTOR

About the Role

Hope Community Chapel (HCC) Baptist Church in Franklin, NH, seeks a Lead Pastor to shepherd the congregation and community, serving as the first among equals on the deacon board. HCC is a small church in a growing community within the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Ordained minister or eligible for ordination within 1 year of election.
• In complete accord with Baptist doctrine and willing to become a member of the church.
• Meets biblical requirements for pastoral leadership (1 Tim. 3:1-7).
• Demonstrates humility, knowledge of scripture, storytelling ability, inspiration, lived experience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preach the Gospel regularly.
• Administer ordinances.
• Supervise the teaching ministry of the church.
• Watch over the membership and spiritual interests of the congregation.
• Organize and develop the church’s strengths for optimal service.
• Engage in community outreach.

Application Requirements

• 3 references attesting to ministry experience.
• Detailed resume of educational and ministerial experience (including ordination and certifications).
• Cover letter addressing calling to pastoral ministry and theological beliefs.
• At least 2 recorded messages/sermons (links to YouTube or website acceptable, with specific messages indicated).
• Requested salary.
