About the role

The 2nd Church is seeking a Lead Pastor who will guide the congregation into a season of ministry characterized by congregational health, effective ministry, and strengthened relationships with the community of Fremont, MI.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship services and other church events
• Develop and implement a vision for the spiritual growth of the congregation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members and the community
• Oversee the pastoral care of the congregation
• Collaborate with other church leaders to enhance the overall ministry of the church

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of pastoral experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Theology or related field
• Experience leading worship services and church events
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with members and the community
• Passion for the mission and vision of the church

Qualifications

• Committment to the teachings of the Bible
• Willingness to engage in ongoing theological education and personal spiritual growth
• Experience working with diverse groups and communities
• Ability to work collaboratively with other church leaders

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
