Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and training of Orthodontic Assistants and conduct group trainings as needed.
- Clarify treatment plans and customize patient care education based on individual needs.
- Create and maintain clear expectations for team members regarding desired patient experiences and promptly address customer needs.
- Optimize schedules through effective open treatment calls with a focus on educating patient parents/guardians about the urgency of their pending treatment.
- Conduct Orthodontic Assistant interviews and evaluations.
- Ensure the practice is clean and welcoming for patients, including maintaining restrooms, patient lobbies, and performing cleaning tasks like mopping and vacuuming.
- Perform other duties that align with the mission of delivering high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active certification meeting state requirements for orthodontic assisting.
- Radiology education and training meeting state requirements.
- At least one year of previous orthodontic assisting experience.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to train and lead a team of Orthodontic Assistants.
- Experience managing complex, multi-faceted tasks.
