Lead Oracle Developer
Job Summary
The Department of Information Services at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Lead Programmer Analyst / Lead Oracle Developer. The successful candidate will serve as a Lead Programmer Analyst for Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, HCM) in supporting and developing integrations between Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, HCM) and on-premise, third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and supports Oracle data and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field combined with at least five years’ experience in the Software field with experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle SaaS modules and hands-on development and administration experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- 3+ years of experience with REST API, SOAP, FBDI, PL/SQL, and the use of Oracle Cloud-delivered Web Services
- 2+ years of experience with developing integration using Oracle OIC
- End-to-end Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) implementation experience with at least 1 end-to-end Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS implementation project
- Experienced with interfacing between Oracle Cloud or ERP and 3rd party systems
- Experienced working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience with Python and C# programming languages and or mobile app development
- Ability to leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, SaaS applications, etc. in the solution
- Hands-on development experience with Oracle Database Cloud services (DBCS) and Managed File Transfer (MFT)
- Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirement, design, development, testing, deployment, support)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced with Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM and HCM
- REST API and SOAP
- Oracle OIC, OTBI Tableau and BI Publisher
- Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Stored Procedures, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Programming language Python and C#
- Experience with implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Experienced in Hospital or healthcare environment
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 5:00pm (Full-Time)
