Lead Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Scribe

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as lead ophthalmic technicians and medical scribes. Our practice is the largest retina practice in North Carolina and we are currently staffing clinics in Raleigh, North Raleigh, Cary, Fuquay Varina, Clayton, Greenville, Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest.

Responsibilities

• Aid in daily tasks of running a medical clinic.
• Aid the physician in the room, triaging patients, and scheduling surgeries.
• Experience with OCT, fundus, and FA imaging.
• Familiarity with MDI Intellechart for scribe experience, though not required.
• Assist in coordinating surgery schedules and reviewing and editing medical charts and referrals.

Requirements

• Experience working as a technician in an Ophthalmology office.
• Ability to assist in the coordination of surgical schedules and review medical charts.

Qualifications

• Experience with OCT, fundus, and FA imaging.
• Familiarity with MDI Intellechart for scribe experience, though not required.

Pay

Set clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Full-time hours are preferred, with some overtime hours potentially required.
