Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to operators, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices
• Support the Production Supervisor in managing daily operations and resolving issues promptly.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Oversee production performance to ensure timely output and product quality.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and meet production targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) gains.
• Operate, set up, sanitize, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance (PMs) accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain clear, legible logs and records; neat handwriting is required.
• Train operators on equipment operation, safety, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical support to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimal downtime.
• Certification Requirement: Must complete Lead Operator 1 certification within 1 year of assuming the role.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold and improve quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure confirmation accuracy.
