Lead - Night Shift

About the role

As the Lead, you will oversee your assigned team and area in the warehouse to ensure our operations continue to run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Support operational processes to help maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure orders are completed correctly and on time
• Assist in coordinating daily workload and directing employees on task priorities
• Help train and coach team members on proper procedures and best practices
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain accurate work documents
• Model and promote a high standard of customer service on the floor
• Follow and reinforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure team compliance
• Safely operate various equipment and tools alongside your team
• Act as a resource and support for warehouse management as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S program
• Monitor orders and assist in identifying and resolving problems
• Absorb and track goods and/or supplies
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime which may include weekends
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Tolerance for hot or cold warehouse environments
