Lead Network Engineer

About This Role

The Wells Fargo Application Hosting - Secure Network Services (AH-SNS) product provides foundational network infrastructure leveraged by Technology Infrastructure products and platforms in the Wells Fargo Data Centers. It also provides connectivity for business partners, the public Internet, and public cloud providers. AH-SNS is transforming operations to provision network capacity at an accelerated pace through full automation, providing transparency to the consumer and the network operators throughout the lifecycle of the infrastructure. The Lead Network Engineer for the AH-SNS Internet team is responsible for the development of standardized Internet network architectures and design, in addition to network automation, to build, provision, operate, and maintain world class engineered network solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with network infrastructure and networking technologies with a solid understanding of automation and software development tools.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of combined Network Engineering with automation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching platforms and solutions from Cisco and Arista
• 5+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible, Go, JINJA, Python, REST, JSON, and YAML
• 3+ years of experience with network management, automation, and orchestration tools, such as Ansible

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and testing standardized Internet network and security solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in BGP, IPSEC, VPN, PKI and related technologies
• Relevant certifications from Cisco, Arista, and cloud service providers
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and related tools like JIRA
