Lead MRI Tech
Job Summary
The Technologist performs MRI examinations with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist. Operates diagnostic MRI equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Lead tech will be responsible for educating and training staff technologists on existing and new procedures. Lead tech will be responsible for adjusting protocols as directed by Medical Imaging Management team and Radiologists.
- Scheduling
- Transporting patients
- Ordering supplies
- Cleaning
- Anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team
Qualifications
- BLS required(ARRT-R)
- Radiography required
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology preferred and ARRT(ARRT-MR)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging required within 6 months of hire
- MRI Experience strongly preferred
