About the role

SEP Rail Services is currently looking for a Lead Monitoring Surveyor / Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with at least 3 years of surveying, engineering or monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and set up survey and monitoring projects.
• Undertaking various types of monitoring sessions using a variety of specialised equipment and technology.
• Willingness to stay away from home where required due to project requirements.
• Ability to undertake geotechnical monitoring would be advantageous.
• Analysing and processing data using industry standard software.
• Assisting in the mentoring/development of junior staff.

Requirements

• 3 years’ previous surveying, engineering or monitoring experience.
• Relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK construction industry.
• Experience of working to high safety standards.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of role-related post-processing software.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• An ambition to learn and develop.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
• The right to work in the UK.
