Lead Mobile App Developer | $65/hr on W2 | Atlanta, GA

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Mobile Application Engineer to lead the development of scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android. This role will provide technical leadership, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer-facing mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mobile application development across multiple products and brands.
• Design, build, and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Establish engineering standards, testing strategies, and release governance processes.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance to distributed teams.
• Support app releases, production issue resolution, and performance improvements.
• Partner with Product, UX, QA, API, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on mobile development.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or senior engineering ownership.
• Strong experience with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building customer-facing mobile applications at scale.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integration, performance optimization, push notifications, and deep linking.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and Agile delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) experience.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools, crash analytics, and observability platforms.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed engineering teams.
• Background in e-commerce, loyalty, payments, retail, or other transactional mobile platforms.
