Lead ML Engineer - Mapping

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a production-grade lane and route network mapping stack
• Lead research and validation of advanced neural architectures for automated mapping
• Drive feature development from inception to deployment, including code reviews and mentorship
• Define end-to-end data strategy for mapping, including data curation and auto-labeling pipelines
• Develop evaluation frameworks for network accuracy and scaling across diverse environments

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
• 7+ years developing and deploying ML/DL models for mapping/computer vision at scale
• Expertise in computer vision, specifically object detection, classification, and segmentation
• Strong understanding of HD maps and lane/road network geometry modeling
• Proficiency in Python or C++ with experience in modular software design

Pay

$225,000 – $275,000 annually
