Lead Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities

• Trains new employees on routes and teaches the fundamentals of merchandising standards
• Aids with scheduling and customer service concerns
• Covers routes when employees are on vacation
• Stocks and rotates shelves, builds displays, and manages POS materials to deliver results for stores and suppliers
• Builds strong relationships with key account relationships and gathers feedback on merchandising activities
• Shares feedback with appropriate sales team members
• Learns and grows beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge for brands and customers
• Leads other merchandisers
• Performs other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply
• Prioritize High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Show top-shelf customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Display high levels of professionalism and sound judgment
• Capable of working occasional weekends
• Able to lift and carry 45-65 pounds

Physical Requirements

• Frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, and reach
• Frequently climb up and down a ladder
• Regularly lift 45-65 lbs
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
