About the Role
The Lead Technologist performs essential duties in one or more sub-specialties of the Clinical Laboratory in a highly competent manner. In addition, he/she provides technical expertise to staff and others and acts as the Manager’s designee in performing delegated tasks. The Lead Tech collaborates with the manager in making decisions in compliance with existing policies, procedures, or instructions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Baccalaureate degree in biology or chemistry with 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience may qualify.
- ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry required.
