About the role

Leads a group of laboratory employees working on a particular shift. Coordinates daily operations of the clinical laboratory/section. Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and physicians for the resolution of unusual problems or unexpected circumstances (both technical and non-technical).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a B.S. degree in a biological or chemistry specialty.
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Medical Technologist – American Medical Technologists or National Medical Technologist – American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a B.S. degree in a biological or chemistry specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Leadership or supervisory experience.

Schedule

Part time, 0.8 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 32 hours per week.
