Lead Medical Lab Tech

About the Role

Provides leadership and problem resolution, maintains customer service and support, and assumes responsibility for specimen integrity on specimens received in the laboratory. Assists supervisor and manager in planning section goals and procedures for accomplishing goals. Uses analytical skills to research routine information needed for accuracy and completeness of laboratory testing. Uses organizational skills to maintain information on patient test orders and department workflow.

Schedule

Full-Time Evening Shift (3pm - 11pm)

Requirements

• Associate's degree as MLT or in a related field
• 2+ years of laboratory related experience
• Basic knowledge of specimen integrity and preservation
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ability to perform routine laboratory support
