Responsibilities
- Provide field engineering support for mechanical construction activities
- Oversee installation of HRSGs, steam turbines, gas turbine auxiliary systems, piping, pumps, condensers, pressure vessels, and Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment
- Review RFIs, technical submittals, and field changes
- Cook up coordination with construction, engineering, quality, commissioning, and owner teams
- Sustain support for system walkdowns, turnover, and commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of mechanical field engineering experience on industrial or power generation projects
- Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant construction experience
- HRSG construction and installation experience
- Experience with steam turbines, high-energy piping, rotating equipment, and Balance of Plant (BOP) systems
- Knowledge of ASME codes, OSHA regulations, and mechanical construction practices
- Experience working with OEMs such as GE Vernova, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Power, or similar is preferred
