Lead Mechanical Design Engineer – Electric Motors & Generators

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical design of electric motors, generators, and gearboxes.
• System Integration: Coordinate large design teams during electric machine development.
• Project Management: Drive schedules, manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), and ensure design coordination.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Develop products as part of an integrated engineering team.
• Product Development: Support all phases of design and mentor junior engineers.
• Design Engineering: Lead Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling, drafting, analysis, and optimization.
• Customer Focus: Present solutions and incorporate customer input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 15+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• 10+ years with NX modeling and drafting.
• Prior systems design lead experience.
• Must be a US Citizen (ITAR).
