Lead Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical repairs and services to equipment daily.
- Performs motor and gear box changes and maintenance.
- Contributes to daily start-up and monthly department meetings ensuring thorough communication to associates.
- Manages and monitors the performance and efficiency of repair operations.
- Participates in technical and safety training programs.
- Directs Maintenance Mechanics to maintain plant equipment safely and properly with the goal of 100% reliability and minimum downtime for unexpected repairs.
- Covers operations and maintenance positions as required.
Qualifications
- Three (3) years of transportation mechanic experience.
- High school diploma.
Pay
Pay range: $25-$35 p/h depending on experience
