Job Description Summary This Lead Manufacturing Engineer will establish internal processes that safely ensures the production of high-quality products at the rate determined by customer demand. The ideal candidate will: Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving cycle & cost, resolving technical/process issues, and driving lean initiatives. The candidate will lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, quality, production, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Proactively problem solve and utilize creative thinking to support productionLead improvement efforts across the cell for visual management, tooling, plant equipment, and safety/ergonomic solutionsManage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics Own execution of capital investments delivering desired outcomes on schedule & within budgetProvide technical leadership and support for training of operators across areas of expertiseMaintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality.Work with cross-functional team to drive 5s, operational rigor/ rhythm / standard work, training plan, and ensure projects are prioritized to align with business needsDrive improvements partnering with outside vendors to improve consumable costDevelop strategies for new product introductionDevelop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process controlSupport product qualifications as neededOther duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing OR High School Diploma / GED with 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Desired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to influence others and lead small teamsStrong time and project management skillsComprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the functionLead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to help drive lean initiativeStrong oral and written communication skillsAnalytical problem-solving skillsExperience and knowledge of gas turbine components This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Relocation Assistance Provided: No For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
