Lead Manufacturing Operator - 3rd Shift

The Manufacturing Lead – 3rd Shift, reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. The Lead’s primary focus is to support the entire Manufacturing operations teams with day-to-day cross-technical support. Leads are curious, creative problem-solvers who never tire with the thrill of getting things just right to make a high-quality product. Leads are team players and can jump in and help at a moment’s notice. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct support across multiple functional manufacturing areas, including daily workflow schedule execution, workstation setup, operating machines, training operators, maintenance, etc.Visually observe the manufacturing floor to evaluate manufacturing bottlenecks and actively communicate with department supervisors and machine operators to assess where support is neededMaintain intermediate knowledge of most machines, manufacturing processes, and required maintenanceAssist supervisors with daily stand-ups and shift transferMain point of contact for information and guidance regarding items throughout the shopMaintain a high degree of visibility, access and open communication with all team membersConsistently evaluate all operation stations to ensure optimum efficiency and qualityMonitor compliance with all safety, quality, and professional policies and report discrepancies to supervisorUnderstand and work toward daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives by operator and shiftEnsure regular maintenance schedules are followedEnsure all work produced meets or exceeds QA/QC guidelines set forth by the department leadership teamPerform regular quality checks and participate in weekly safety walksBe main point of contact for approving quality defectsInvestigate reported product defects and follow procedures for timely reporting and documentationAssist with implementation of process improvement projectsRespond to team member issues in a timely, forthright and thoughtful mannerHelp facilitate training of new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow proceduresIn the event that a supervisor is out you are the main point of contactTrack delayed and multi-part jobs in the shop and work to get them shippedOther duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, And Ability Completion of High School education or equivalent2 years of direct machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment and/or with the advanced knowledge of operating a minimum of 2 digital machinesAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environment (24 hour turnaround on product) Passion for maintaining health and safety requirements. Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process qualityAptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and proceduresBasic math skills and superb attention to detail and product qualityExcellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time on a daily basisInterest and ability to grow professionally with support from StickerGiant Physical Requirements Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hoursMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistanceOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reachingFrequent walking, grasping and gripping POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS Pay Range: $21 - $23 + $2/hr shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shiftFull-time, non-exempt positionThird Shift HoursMonday – Friday 9:00pm – 5:30amSome mandatory overtime and voluntary overtime available 100% on-site position (no hybrid work available) Why StickerGiant?
