About the role

We are seeking a Lead, Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing facility located in Camden, AR. This role involves developing, implementing, and analyzing manufacturing engineering plans and projects, communicating them to internal and external customers, defining, developing, and transferring manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems, and estimating and tracking manufacturing costs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to processes, practices, and approaches.
  • Makes significant improvements to systems and processes.
  • Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
  • Achieves operational targets with direct impact on the departmental results.
  • Investigates and determines root causes of problems, develops and implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company within area of expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Minitab, and JMP.
  • Leverage Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Statistical Analysis experience.
  • Understand rocket propulsion component(s) and theory of operation.
  • Experience working with Energetics and DOD contracts.
  • Capital Project Management experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is 4/10: Employees work 10 hours per day, 4 days a week.
