About the role
This client is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Manager based in the Greater Boston area with a requirement of 4 days onsite.
Responsibilities
- Drive QA strategy
- Build and optimize automation frameworks (selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Lead distributed/offshore QA teams in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Integrate QA into CI/Cd pipelines
- Leverage AI tools for test generation, automation, or defect analysis
- Reduce flaky tests and improve pipeline reliability
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- Strong hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks (selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Proficiency in Java for test automation development
- Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin
- Proven experience leading onshore/offshore QA teams across multiple time zones
- Hands-on experience integrating QA into CI/Cd pipelines
- Strong understanding of test data management, defect governance, and quality metrics
- Experience with security performance, and scalability testing
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team building experience
- Background in investment management, trading systems, or financial services
- Experience with API testing and database validation
