Lead Man

About the role

P&K Stone, LLC is a privately owned supplier of aggregate materials to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and Southern Oklahoma. This position is based at P&K Stone LLC's Denton Recycling operation, located in Denton, TX.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety- Take an active role prioritizing safety for yourself and others to ensure all assigned plants have zero accidents and are in total compliance with all P&K Stone policies and procedures and MSHA Regulations.
• Organize and Plan Production- Plan the daily operation scheduling of production to ensure optimal utilization of plant and processing equipment, personnel and inventory requirements, and work procedures regarding processing, stockpiling, loading and shipping of raw and finished materials.
• Monitor Processes and Materials- Analyze production and quality control to ensure a quality product is received by our customers.
• Maintenance- The Lead Man shall also inspect equipment pre-and post-shift, assist and organize the work of employees in the daily inspection and maintenance of plant and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruption to process.
• Operate Equipment- Experience with operating loaders, excavators, skid steers and dozers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of concrete recycling or aggregates production and associated equipment and processes.
• At least 2 years of aggregates experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide strong leadership and mentorship to employees, both direct and indirect reports, to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.
• Operational Knowledge. Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of rock mining or concrete recycling, MSHA regulations, and quality control systems and processes.
