Lead Mammography Technologist

As a Lead Mammography Technologist, you’ll join a dedicated team of professionals aligned to achieve the best clinical outcomes for patients, providers, payors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other devices while adhering to established company policies and protocols.
  • Travel to RadNet sites within the practice subsidiary to assess overall training and support needs for Mammography Technologists.
  • Work directly with the Training Mammography Director to ensure Mammography Technologists are onboarded, trained appropriately, and meet MQSA and ACR requirements, including quality assurance, clinical image quality, and quality control throughout the region.
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc technologist feedback and review consistent with department guidelines (Technologist Image Review).
  • Support Radiologist Image Review/Peer Review measures to certify that an image review exists for each Radiologist at each location where they read.
  • Collaborate with technologists to develop efficiency standards for workflow, ensuring each imaging center meets or exceeds productivity measures and daily volume expectations.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on-site or on patient portals.
  • Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, responding to the needs of others with respect and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for patient care and leadership, exercising sound judgment and maintaining professionalism in all situations.
  • Adept and professional communication skills with leaders at all levels, along with strong interpersonal abilities and respect when interacting with patients, leaders, and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
  • ARRT(R)(M) certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with and ability to use equipment in the assigned modality, including RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain all required quality standards.

Pay

$45.00 - $63.00 per hour.
