As the Lead Mammography Technologist, you’ll combine clinical expertise with hands-on leadership, providing exceptional patient care while guiding, supporting, and developing the mammography team at our Reston-Herndon location.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day clinical lead for Mammography
- Perform mammography and bone density exams
- Coach, train, and support Mammography Technologists to promote clinical excellence
- Partner with the Center Manager and Scheduling Supervisor on scheduling protocols, patient preparation, and physician orders
- Adjust schedules and coordinate additional service needs to support patient access and workflow
- Help manage operational challenges, including equipment downtime and scheduling changes
- Maintain accurate records related to Quality Assurance procedures and equipment maintenance
- Ensure mammography services meet established quality and safety standards
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Mammography experience
- Preference for someone with 3+ years' experience within FRC
- Advanced knowledge of Mammography Quality Assurance
- ARRT RT(R) certification
- Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong patient care and customer service skills

Pay
The compensation range for this position is: $42.40 - $49.88 - $57.36. Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
