Job Description Company: Wells Enterprises (a Ferrero Company) Functional Area: Manufacturing The Role Responsible for improving overall business performance and building internal Preventative and Reactive Maintenance capabilities while initiating, leading and/or supporting the implementation of maintenance activities on an ongoing basis. Primarily focuses on reducing plant downtime, reducing mean time between break downs, reducing time to repair, improving line performance metrics, and improving Preventive Maintenance completion rates. What You’ll Do Build organizational technical capability by transferring technical knowledge to others through hands on coaching during projects, repairs, or PM activities. Coach, mentor, and guide the line technicians as well as facility operations team in the use of tools, troubleshooting strategies, repair techniques, and technical knowledge related to equipment function. Engage employees at all levels to focus on the reliability of the equipment to drive SQDC results.Drive root cause analysis processes to improve machine downtime. Understands mechanical systems and manufacturing processes at Wells, as well as what drives key metrics.Assist in the preventative maintenance program, reviewing downtime for trends, creating new PMs and ensure equipment PMs get completed in a timely manner in coordination with maintenance planner. Works with Parts team to get critical spare parts order and PM kits developed.Analyze existing factory processes or line equipment for areas of improvement, then design and implement process improvements, training or equipment upgrades to ensure enhanced sustainable performance while ensuring a safe and positive workplace.Ensures customer service through detailed start up reports, attendance at daily production meetings and strong communication and coordination skills with production and maintenance supervisors, operators, and planners.Challenge the status quo of how we currently operate, driving improvements in reliability of equipment and processes, through continuous improvement initiatives. Utilizes appropriate technical resources, both internal and external to the facility to develop and maintain predictive/preventative maintenance schedules for inspections and condition-based monitoring programs. #IND123 Qualifications What You’ll Bring Minimum of 2 years of experience in Wells maintenance.Must be trainable on and able to execute computerized maintenance management systems such as CMMS.Must possess ability to apply pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical principles to high-speed production machinery and support equipment.Understanding and interpreting schematics and other technical publications.Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties at Wells.Must possess strong interpersonal, time management, leadership, decision making, communication, teambuilding, organization, and analytical skills.Basic skills in Microsoft Office.Able to follow written and oral instructions, coordinate work with planner and maintenance technicians.Able to solve problems, be self-directed and adapt to changing priorities.Demonstrate ability to work effectively with individuals at many levels of an organization.Able to manage, diffuse, and resolve conflict.Ability to lead and manage change.Strong mechanical aptitude and able to solve complex problems.
