Lead macOS / Jamf Engineer

About the role

You’ll take ownership of the firm’s macOS environment, building out the structure, standards, and automation that are not fully in place today.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continued evolution of Jamf, establishing standards across provisioning, patching, security, enrollment, and lifecycle management.
• Help define how Apple Business Manager, enrollment workflows, and device management should be done.
• Work closely with teams across cloud, identity, and endpoint engineering, including Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
• Understand how macOS fits into a broader, cross-platform infrastructure.
• Establish standards and improve automation for a seamless macOS environment at scale.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading macOS environments, including Jamf and related tools.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and enrollment workflows.
• Understanding of cross-platform infrastructure and how macOS fits within it.
• Strong technical skills in macOS administration and management.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in IT, with a focus on macOS administration.
• Experience with Apple hardware and software, including macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
• Knowledge of Apple Business Manager and enrollment workflows.
• Experience with cloud services and cross-platform infrastructure.
