Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Oversee and participate in the installation and servicing of low voltage systems, ensuring they are set up according to specifications and functioning properly.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems quickly to minimize downtime and disruptions for clients.
- Project Management: Work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all installations and services meet the highest quality standards and comply with safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with services provided and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in low voltage systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a strong background in security cameras, access control systems, and intercoms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team effectively. Ability to train and guide junior technicians.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of low voltage systems and industry standards.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., NICET, Access Control, Security Systems).
